Reviews for Time Of The Century from Beautiful Discovery
“I love how the song starts immediately. Some songs take too long, giving a long drawn out introduction. The singer has a unique voice, very different from the norm. However, I like it. The lyrics are fun to listen to and the beat is very nice. The song was definitely put together nicely.”
“Right into the song. No intro. I like the vocal harmony. A little asynchronous but I think it works. Cool garage rock feel. Good rhythm section.
“This has a great quirky sound from the outset. A great unique lo-fi, indie jaunt to the track. The vocals have a lovely straight ahead quality and the chorus is a wonderful, sparkly, psychadelic affair. The verses offer such an interesting contrast as to keep it rolling along easily. I love it, this would go straight into my playlist”
“The lyrics and vocals are the first thing I hear so they stand out.The groove the drum beat gives is so cool. The other instruments work as a group and are amazing. The way this song was put together is magical in a weird way.Nice job in both recording and production.”
“Cool song nice basic music along with good lyrics, sound old but with a new twist, singing goes well with the music."
“Immediately I get a 90's feel from this song, like Beck meets Nirvana. The catch comes out of nowhere, which I kind of enjoy. The harmonies in the catch are excellent and match well against the "bummer", Cobain style lyricism in the verse. I love that the song ends on the solo, abruptly.”
“Sounds like a hit to me. Off key singing similar to the Meat Puppets and Nirvana. Catchy beat and rhythm. Want to listen to more from this group. I thought the guitar playing was crisp and catchy with some of the picking and not to say piercing which seems to be the case in a lot of bands lately.”
“The structure of this song is really well created. Their voices are very refreshing, edgy and unique. The instruments used in this song sound so powerful, memorable and interesting. The lyrics sound amazing, this band clearly sat down and planned things first carefully before actually arranging which was what. The guitar solo is passionately played too.”
“The song has a very nice harmonious tone to it. The singer's vocals blend very well with the astounding instrumental backings. I love the guitar playing in this song it is beautiful. Thumbs up to the person in charge of the instruments in this song.”
"The composition is astoundingly grand. there is an air of mature correlation between various musical instruments.”

“This song has a good solid beat to it. I like the way the song was written its very unique and different from some other songs on the roster today. Electric guitar is played extremely well and has almost a spanish appeal to it , a wonderful lovely guitar. I like the beat of the song and all the musical instruments involved ."
“Really like this song. Simple and very catchy lyrics. The ryhthm and instrumentation gives us that 70's feel and is very enjoyable. The vocals matched the musicality very well and created a very nice blend for the overall production. This is a nice song and would have a rightful spot on a popularity chart.”
“Catchy song. Reminiscent of the Beatles music. It was short but memorable. The beat was steady and the rhythm was fluid. The lead vocalist had a good tonal quality to his voice. This may have hit potential.”
“This is a great track. the lyrics about being in love were nice although the track was very short. the vocals were good and went well with all of the instruments.
“The great thing about this song is in the beginning it has lyrics that are catchy and I think their fans can sing along to and remember. A little in it sounded kind of seventies! This would make a good song for a tv show or a movie. Very catchy and Im still singing it!”
“The vocal changes in the octaves are times really well. It is very catchy from the very beginning. All of a sudden there's overlapping bass and guitar melodies, and makes me want to wait for the next verse. I really like the mini solo in between the chorus and verses. The singing has a slightly airy touch which matches the overall mood and tone of the song. It would not surprise me if this song made its way on the charts. I listened to the whole song and was disappointed when it ended; has no flaws.”
“This song's hook starts off the right way- short, quick and catchy. the distorted somewhat lo-fi voice is an excellent addition to the music. the guitar solo is another selling point to this song . The overall sound of this song is great. It has great potential to be quite popular.”
“As soon as song starts the Beatles come to mind, has a 1960's sound, very catchy, has that timeless quality and universal appeal that songs from that era contain. It 's fun and easy to listen to and I would love to hear more from this band, this song should be on the radio”
“This track starts quite quickly and gets to the "catch" part of the song quickly. It has a sort of Beatles feel mixed with psychedelic. It 's good, short, and interesting.
“I like how there's no wait for the vocals in the introduction of the song. The singers come on right away. The beat is steady and compliments both vocalists voices very nicely. Because it doesn't take away from their vocals. The singers take the spot light in the song. I do like the instrumental solo's though as well. It's the best of both worlds in this track. A little of everything. The lyrics are catchy and easy to follow. They're written creatively and in a fun way. It 'd be a really popular song if it hit the radio stations.”
“"I'm outa my head about you I don't know what I'm gonna do I'm raking my brain I'm going insane.. I'm outa my head about you..." The music is like a retro 60's organ playing.. Groovy baby yeah! kinda tune! I loved it .. this is the music my mom raised me up on.. Like ("The Monkeys" Peter Tork...Micky Dolan... Davy Jones.. and Mike Nesmith!) This is a lot like their songs! I loved it! The electric guitar instrumentals were groovy.. the beat was cool.. It made me want to put on my gogo boots and dance!”
“This band has inspiration from the Doors. They play very well. The song has a pretty melody. I like the register of the organ. Sound quality was good. This song is a pleasure to listen to .”
“This song came on and instantly gave me a 60s disco type of vibe. I love it though. This singer has a very friendly like voice and it is very different. The beat an the background that I hear is very upbeat and makes you want to just lay in your bed and listen to this song. It kind of sounds like 2 people are singing at the same time, maybe not though. I like the fact that the singer is saying that he is out of his head about someone. I think that Is sweet that he may be feeling this way about someone and not afraid to express it through his song.”
“This is an amazing song. This "tune" has a 60s rock feel. From beginning to end, it was very enjoyable. The vocals were strong, melodic, and on key. The music is precise, and very tight. It 's sort of nostalgic, but it 's not dull. It 's alluringly cheerful.”
